Real Club de Golf Las Palmas Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas golf enjoys the distinction of being the oldest golf club in Spain. It was inaugurated on 17th December 1891 on a site known as 'Lomo del Polvo' In 1956 Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas was transferred to the plains of Bandama, situated close to an extinct volcano with a diameter of 800m and a depth of 200 m.
Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas has wonderful views of spectacular, deep ravines. Designed by Mackenzie Ross, it is a 6506 Yards Par 71, 18-hole course, with 2 putting greens, one of which is floodlit, a practice tee, pitching green, instructors, pro-shop, club hire service, a restaurant and an excellent wine cellar. Major International players consider the course exceptional and throughout its long history has been the site of many a tournament.
