Calanova Golf Club is a recently opened golf club designed and managed by Aymerich Golf Management, the leading company in golf course development and management in Europe. The golf course is in Mijas Golf Valley, 10 kms. from Fuengirola and 15 kms. from Marbella. 

The course is an 18-hole, par 72 and 5.866 metres long and has been built according to United States Golf Association (USGA) rules and regulations with regard to the tees, bunkers, drainage and greens. 

We can assure you that your players will enjoy this course, where the game strategy plays and important role. It includes, among others, the following features:

  Extraordinary landscape views, including sea and La Cala de Mijas Mountains, in nearly every hole. 

Greens have an average area above 400 sqm. Players will find them very exciting due to an extraordinary shaping work. This characteristic will allow a lot of pin positions, from the very simple to the most difficult ones. 

There are a variety of fairways layouts. All of them are wide in the ball drop areas and clear, so that the player can see the obstacles before hitting the ball. Being a sloppy terrain, every fairway is quite flat, and then players won’t have very difficult stands in order to hit the ball comfortably.  

Tees are spread in different platforms, providing the players the possibility of playing the course with a huge variety of distances. This number of platforms will keep tees always in excellent conditions. From every single tee players can visualize the shot which makes the flight of the ball spectacular.                   

At the moment Calanova Golf Club has a 300 sqm temporary club house where you can find a pro shop, changing rooms with showers, reception and a restaurant with spectacular sea views from the terrace.

  HOW TO REACH CALANOVA GOLF CLUB from FLATOTEL: Take direction Marbella on the N-340. Six kilometres past Fuengirola, take La Cala de Mijas exit, opposite the sea side, and after 700 metres you will find a round about with olive trees, turn 90º on your left and follow the Calanova golf Club signs about two kilometres and you will be there.
